Call forwarding codes to activate or deactivate call forwarding on Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL

Call forwarding on Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL
Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL all have call-forwarding codes, which allow users to divert calls to other numbers. This comes in handy when one of your numbers is non-answerable or your phone’s battery is dead and you want incoming calls to be received on either your secondary device or someone else’s phone. This can also be misused if you do it as per scammers instruction.

Activate call forwarding on Jio using codes
Anyone with a Jio mobile number can forward the calls. This can be done either by going into the advanced call settings or by dialling certain codes that will route the calls to another phone number of your choice. Below are the codes for various call forwarding scenarios and how you can activate forwarding using those codes for your Jio number.

Forwarding all your incoming calls on Jio
Go ahead and open the ‘Phone’ app on your phone

Now dial *401*<10 digit number> where the ’10 digit number’ depicts the phone number you would like the calls to be forwarded to
